Definitely more room than Porsche. I am 6"2 and I fit there, but only fit, I don;t really feel comfortable in the back. And it is not so much leg room, or hip room, or torso room, it is more of a head room issue!
4 of us rode in my co-worker's 135i for lunch today. Surprisingly, it wasn't too bad in the backseat. Of course, the short guys got the benefit of sitting back there. But being 5'8 (5'9) it wasn't too bad at all. No head crunch, tight fit, maybe Ok for 1-2 drive (max).
