I think the brunette should be the M5.........understated, natural, sublime

M6 is a blonde.......flashy, in your face, attention grabbing whore

Why do artist renditions always look better than the actual car?

I LOVE them both. Although two totally different cars!
I am still contemplating ordereing the M5 in April!... this comparison is a little unfair in that no one has driven the M5 yet, all I have to go by is my current 530, with stupid amounts of power! (which is ok!...) oh, and a couple of videos on the net of the M5...
But, I have driven a 645ci a lot, there is something about that exhaust sound that just does it for me!.... Im sure the M5 will be an impressive sound too... but when I get into the 645ci that exhaust just ROARS!!!
I just hope they dont tone the note of exhaust down too far with the M5, cause BMW still beleive a lot of purchasers will be using it still for business/famiy use too.
:'(

I guess we will see....

M5!!!....

cheers

I love the 6 but I have to go for the power.

630i vs. 545i would be fair to compare. The same money...

The M5 and M6 will have the same engine and therefor the same amount of hp and torque.
The M6 will be considerably lighter though, partly due to the carbon fibre roof. Also, the M6 will be a lot more expensive.

An M6 convertible, that would be my choice. Until that's available, I'll stick with the practicality of a back seat.
