With the new valvetronic inline 6 engine line up... will there be a 4 liter version 6 series?
as in the 7 series line up of 730i; 740i; 750i; 760i but the 5 series is getting 523i; 525i; 530i; 550i So for the 6: 630i; 645i --------> 630i; 640i; 650i?? cheers |

...there will be one...im trying to verify when the 640i will be released, but the bigger question, :whistle: ofcourse, will be if BMW NA brings it to our shores
... i think that there is definitely a market for it, especially with the announced release of the new Cayman S, which is going to have ~298hp and cost $59K, so a ~306bhp 640i starting ~ $60K would compete perfectly, and bring up the low level of sales the 6er is currently generating... ...in NYC, i still dont see the need for the now 4.8 that the E63 will have in Sept, but if I cant get the 5er the way I want it, :whistle: , im going for a 6, and i would prefer the 4.0... more waiting... :whistle: |
