Is the 6 active steering on by default ?

Hi,
I've had my 6 for 6 days , so far been mostly drving to and from work, one word:
"WOW"
Please excuse the following dumb question as I'm a newb, but is active steering on by default , or is there a setting or button to press to turn it off and on etc ?

My Ride: See sig :)
active steering ftw, after driving a car with it, and one without it, wow, the bmws without AS feel so heavy and not as nimble... TOOOO much road force without the AS as well... I would not ever buy a bmw now without AS

Congrats and welcome! Yes the as is on but that leads to my question. I've read that if you turn the dsc of or alternativly to dtc mode the as will be turned off. Is this true?
