My Ride: BMW E60 530i
2015 BMW F13 640i M Sport Coupe
Hi guys, been a while!
Unfortunately, my E60 530i M Sport has called it quits. The engine has died on me and it is terminal. Cylinders 3, 5 and 6 is leaking water and no compression apparently.
BMW delaers have given me a quote of AUD$17,000 for the new heart and work required. Or, AUD$8,000 for a second hand engine and work required from an independent mechanic.
I was saving up for F13 M6 Coupe but that was when I presumed that my E60 would be the everyday and M6 being the weekend car.
Anyway, this is what I purchased with the following options (please share your thoughts):
2015 BMW F13 640i M Sport
Alpine White
M Sport Package
Black leather interior [extended]
Individual Interior trim Piano Finish, Black
Dynamic Damper Control
Automatic Soft Close function
Sunblinds [rear window electric]
Comfort Seats
Lane Change Warning System
Driving Assistant Plus
Suround View
Adaptive LED Headlights
Digital radio tuner DAB+
Harman/Karon Surround Sound System [16 loudspeakers, 600W]
With my E60, I am going to store it in my warehouse and slowly save up and save her with a new heart later when I am financially more capable.
