Things to Come: Twin-Turbo F10 M5 Is Just the Start
Road Test TV is up to something good. The video below, which was released a few months back, shows an F10 BMW M5 with the 560-horsepower 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 up front (as opposed to the package with 575 horsepower). That’s paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and has a multi-plate locking differential.
RT has some big plans for this guy, but before they start taking things apart in the shop, the team took a high-quality walk-around video, shot on a Sony 4K at 60FPS.
As a quick overview, the M5 has a few performance and exterior differences from its 5-Series siblings. It has a lower ride height, it has bigger air intakes, it has launch control for its rear-wheel drive, and some extra features like dynamic damper control. That all comes in a package for a little less than $100,000. Hear it rev below!
