Over the last few years, the price for E30s has skyrocketed past anything anyone would have ever guessed they would. Long gone are the days when you could pick up an E30 BMW M3 for a fiver and still have enough change left over to install a roll cage and go autocrossing. Prices are only trending upwards, and they don’t seem to be losing steam anytime soon. Case in point, this E30 M3.

Now, this is no normal E30 BMW M3. An ordinary E30 in pristine condition will set you back anywhere from $30,000 to $60,000. That said, this E30 M3 has a $100,000 asking price, and the seller has a reason behind it. This is an E30 M3 Evo II, and for most parts of the world, that means a whole heck of a lot. The E30 M3 Evo II was only sold on the other side of the Atlantic and BMW only built 500 of them.

This E30 M3 Evo II comes with a 217-horsepower engine, bigger wheels and tires, and brake air intakes where the fog lights would have been. It also has thinner rear and side windows for greater weight savings, and a higher axle ratio. This particular E30 M3 Evo II was imported to the United States in 2008 and had a complete respray in Macau Blue.

The car is essentially mint, except for one small detail. The previous owner thought it would be wise to “improve” the already amazing little car. They added an upper strut sway bar, a stainless exhaust, and a new suspension, which essentially takes one of the rarest E30 M3s on the planet and turns it into a Fast and the Furious-mobile. Ugh.

What do you think, though, is it worth what he’s asking?
