Photo of the Week: Simon Andrews

Last November was the 59^th running of the Macau Grand Prix. That weekend was also the 46^th time motorcycles raced the streets of Macau. BMW was well represented with ten of their 1000cc machines on the grid.  I covered the race that weekend in November and wrote a couple articles and snapped a few pictures. I’ll drop a few in 5series.com photograph of the week.

This is Simon Andrews, a British racer on a 1000cc BMW for Ice Valley by Motorsave Trade. Combined qualifying had him start the race 7^th on the grid.  He raced to a podium finish 3^rd place.  When he came back to parc fermé on his BMW he ripped off a burnout while a hundred photographers and his team converged on him.

These two photos were taken during qualifying, and at the conclusion of qualifying.
