Manhart’s M5 is Hot Enough to Ruin Relationships

You’d think that tuning the M5 to 646 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque would be enough. A car like that shouldn’t need a dramatic commercial to show it off. And if you’re doing something like that, you need to at least be clever. This isn’t really either of those. It’s the opposite. In fact, it’s so much the opposite, it’s corny.

That said… The kit doesn’t actually look bad. I’m not a huge fan of the carbon fiber hood or the look-at-me-vinyl on the sides, but the front lip and skirts give the M5 a look of toughness. It’s not fancy, which is is why I like it. All the fancy stuff is under the hood anyway. Carbon fiber intakes and a bright orange engine cover should be enough bling for those who need to look for it.
