This i8 is Batman-Worthy
I figured that body kits went out of style a long time ago, but for some reason people keep making them. Most are completely garish, offer no real performance advantage, and make the car look way worse than factory. Then there are those one-of-a-kind kits that just set an amazing look on the car, enhancing it to near epic heights. Thankfully this is the latter.
What you are most likely drooling over is a custom BMW i8. Created by the company German Special Customs, the outfit plans on creating this one-off BMW with a brand-new body kit that honestly makes this one of the coolest cars I’ve ever seen.
Dubbed the iTRON, the new body has a redesigned bumper, more LEDs, enhanced aero sideskirts and a new hood and tail. While I’m not sure I like it so much in actual colors, the black looks about as sinister as you can get.
This is the body BMW should have made. Nothing has been done to the car’s mechanical innards, but maybe they should mod that bit. This concept looks too muscular to be wasted on the i8’s smaller drivetrain. Maybe throw the new M4’s engine into it and watch it take off. I want it.
