BMW M4 Edition ‘///M Heritage’ a Vibrant Salute to Motorsport Legacy
Limited-edition BMW M4 coupes will make their world premiere during the DTM racing event September 13 to 15 on the Nürburgring.
The 2020 M4 Coupe is adding another special edition to the lineup with the ///M Heritage. This BMW M4 coupe features an exclusive exterior and interior style that carries the tradition of the high-performance racing cars. The BMW M4 Edition M Heritage, powered by a 450 hp straight six-cylinder engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, is limited to only 750 models. It will be produced and sold worldwide from November 2019 and April 2020.
Impossible to ignore are the vibrant colors of Laguna Seca Blue, Velvet Blue, and Imola Red II–synonymous with the BMW Motorsport GmbH logo. But this special edition offers more than a coat of paint, and offers a number of high-performance details.
The two-seater’s carbon-fiber reinforced plastic roof features a striking decorative strip in the BMW M colors, a perfect touch.
The Competition Package will come as standard for the M Heritage special edition. This includes active M suspension, boosted horsepower, 20-inch M light alloy wheels in a star spoke design, and door sills bearing emblems with the imprints “Edition ///M Heritage” and “1/750.”
The interior boasts a number of exclusive details. Model-specific full leather bi-colored seats complement the exterior color. Laguna Seca Blue has Silverstone and Black leather with turquoise stitching. Velvet Blue comes with Silverstone and Black leather with blue contrast stitching. And the Imola Red II includes Red and Black leather with red contrast stitching. Seats all don the “///M Heritage Edition” embroidery. The details are truly spot on, and add a lot of the cool factor to this special edition.
The special edition badging is also on the sleek dash. Once inside the cockpit, it would be hard to resist obeying any speed limits.
Inside and out, these dynamic, sporty M legacy coupes nicely capture the spirit of racing, and the style of velocity.
BMW will debut the M Heritage coupes at the Nürburgring during the German Touring Car Masters (DTM), September 13 – 15. It will make its world debut on the legendary racetrack in the Eifel.
No word on the cost yet, but it is safe to assume that such a rare edition will come with a hefty price tag.
