Munich Motor Works in Dubai is an independent shop that specializes in German brands and tuning. It’s also an authorized Dinan Performance Center that can turn your boring, run-of-the-mill M5 into a 700+ hp, hair-on-fire monster. So an Alpina coming through their doors isn’t too special. But this Alpina, well, this Alpina is special.

It was released in 2012 to celebrate Alpina’s triumphant return to international racing with drivers Alexandros Margaritis and Dino Lunardi  conquering the German GT Series– the 2011 ADAC GT Masters Championship– in the Bimmer Alpina B6 GT3. Aside from being a tribute model, it is also super rare– only 99 models were produced and many of the technical features from the race car have turned up in the B3 GT3 ensuring that it’s a Uber-Alpina.

At the front end, six-piston calipers grab 14.9″ discs and in the back four-pot units stop 13.9″ rotors. The B3 GT3 also includes a lightweight titanium exhaust developed with Akrapovic and decreases back pressure and weight. More importantly, power is provided by a twin-turbo 3.0L straight-six from the “regular” Alpina B3 S Bi-Turbo but output increases to 408hp@6000rpm.  Torque however, is up to 400lb.ft (for comparison, the E92 M3 puts out about 295 lb.ft). As for handling bits, the suspension is fully height adjustable as is front camber and the Alpina B3 GT3 rolls on custom 19in forged wheels that are classic Alpina.

What really sets this car off though is the full vinyl wrap in the official B6 GT3 race car livery and interior green trim. Yes, it was available in a few other colors, but why would anyone order those? This is a properly mad street car. Respect.
