Antonio Felix da Costa to Race DTM in 2014

Antonio Felix da Costa will be racing for BMW next season in German Touring Car (DTM).

The up and down year for the Portuguese driver ended on a high, securing a drive with one of the two BMW Factory DTM teams.

da Costa will split his time between DTM and a reserve role with Red Bull F1 Racing in 2014.

After a brilliant win in Macau in 2012, da Costa appeared to be odds on favorite to take over for Mark Webber at Red Bull Racing.

A 2013 season of mixed results in F3.5 saw da Costa lose favor of top F1 advisor  Helmut Marko.

Then Daniel Ricciardo replaced Webber at Red Bull Racing. Young Russian Daniil Kvyat took the seat vacated by Ricciardo at Scuderia Torro Rosso.
