I have the complete package for adding sat radio module. If your car has the Sat radio prep, this kit will install quickly leaving only programming to be done by NCSExpert, your dealer, or other programming technique of your choice.
The bracket and installation bolts fit E60 12/2001 - 09/2010
Part Nbr: 65106925468 costs $20 from ECS
The SAT radio module is only one version old and superseded by only the newest one available. The newest one available costs ~$1,100 from ECS

If you have Sat radio prep you will have these wires behind the driver side trunk panel:
Pink Connector: antenna
Brown wires: power
Green Wires: fiber optic
Open the splice connector and the fiber optic cables will come out.
Insert them and the power wires into the connector from my kit:

It is an older model than the previous unit. I have the bracket (E60) and power/fiber connector as well.
Part number 65209142852 from Aug 2007. It is superseded by 5 other models but the newest model is still from 2011.
realoem does not show this model being for an E60 but I assure you I took it out of an E60 with the E60 bracket you see in the photo.

Easiest thing to do I think would be to physically take a look.
The left rear panel in the trunk is easily removed via turning the 2 plastic screws and pulling them out. A coin or wide blade screw driver makes it easy.
Lift up the rear panel that covers the trunk floor then you can pull the left panel loose and look behind it.
If you have the SAT module, it will be easy to see attached to the side of the trunk. It is mounted vertically - Look for the bracket/module that you see in the photo.
