Great video... but what is interesting is that they refer to it as the 2003 5 Series, and for some reason mention that the V8 is not available?

I don't know the video's origin, but it doesn't sound like it is from the U.S. So far there is very few info released from BMW on the 545i, which will have the V8 engine from the 7 series. From various sources, including BMW, the V8 545i will be available a little bit after the 530i.
