The aluminum resistors are supposed to dissipate the heat better than ceramic, but during testing we found the ceramic resistors to be cooler to the touch compared to the aluminum ones. I'll give a second review when I get the latest version of the cables for final beta testing.

Yes, but please postpone your purchase of the LED's until I can confirm so you can save money from getting parts shipped twice.

They should be no more then $30 bucks from dealer, I got mine for $24 like knightcom and thats with my employee discount at the dealer. Hope that helps
