Looks like the regular F10. Another M5 sleeper car?? Why doesn't BMW make the M5 look a lot more aggresive?

This whole new 5 series needs a more aggressive look. It just looks way too plain. I don't care about the technical advances, if it doesn't turn heads, it's not worth it. I don't want to have to add a bunch of add on's to make my car look good.

haha. The passenger wants to show-off his spirit fingers. Or is he doing a mini-wave. Good times indeed.

Yes but that would be an unfair comparo tuned vs stock. We have to assume that the M5 will be just as easy to tune, case in which you would probably compare a tuned 550i with close to 520ish hp with a tuned M5 with 650ish hp.

I have the same engine in my X6 as from the 550i and i must say that with most ecu remaps and full exhaust i can get near 500+ hp (having more than 100hp gains) but not to 555hp as per the X6 M.

Also you will spend the extra money on the technology imported, the M DCT gearbox, the suspension, the styiling, the happier reviing engine and of course on 178 more hp.

I cannot believe that BMW engineers cannot get more horsepower from a twin-turbo V8! This car should have at least 600+ horsepower and same with torque.....
This should be the case, yes! And i agree that it should be closer to 600 hp if not dead even. For sure the engine is capable of... heck the Hamann X6 M was tuned to 670hp still keeping the stock turbos. So if it remains to 578hp than either 1. It probably is a understated figure from BMW or 2. It has LOTS of room to tune only by adjusting the boost, whatever might be it still going to be wicked.

Regarding the engine choice i am deeply sorry BMW lost or gave up the NA M engines just to improve fuel consumption. Who the #@#$@ would get an M for fuel economy? Bring back the screamers BMW!!!!! This V8 for sure will not sound as nice as the E60 V10 and for sure it will not rev so high and so freely (turbo disadvantage).

I want a brand new 2010 LCI E60 M5 - I saw one with the new iDrive controls and current iDrive OS! Don't care if it's a predecessor model! It looks way better than the F10!

Bring out the F12/F13 6 Series and/or Grand Coupe M! I'd definitely consider buying the latter drool
