That just sounded so wrong.
What's so wrong?

Actually, its like a real custom piece of rubber. Its hard to explain, but i'll try to take a picture whne i get a chance. Once you see the rubber, you'll understand how hard it is.

I am missing a pad for my E60 BMW 535i roof rack as well. Since you bought a new rack would you be interested in selling one of the pads off the rack you have that was missing one?
Thanks!

Searched High and Low
It's been a few years since this thread, and I'm hoping there has been progress as I have lost the front left rubber foot pad. Does anyone know where I can purchase just this rubber contact pad?
QUOTE=fz6rider;763280]Hello All,
I bought a used roof rack for my 2004 525i off of ebay. Unfortunately it is missing the rubber pad that goes between the rack and the body. I have contact my local dealer and they said they could not find the part. Anybody know where I could get parts for this rack, or know who makes the rack for bmw?[/QUOTE]

People, you can't just go to Home Depot or your local hardware store and buy a piece of rubber? A local auto body shop is likely to have a scrap piece of rubber also.

Unfortunately it's a customized piece of rubber that has grooves that slide onto the feet of the rack
