I have 245/35/20 F and 275/30/20 R Falken 452's. Like Intoxicated said: I prefer a little more meat on my tires than the "recommended" sizes. I know my tires are a little larger than stock rolling diameter, but I am still good since they are still within 3% overall. As long as you keep it within that 3% you don't have to adjust the speedometer and you don't put undue stress on components

Man my first suggestion would be don't get the 20's! You live in New York I know pot holes are around you. Second with the 20's and a drop it's always a back n forth game on what tire size to run. If you upsize get ready to rub at some point and have to roll rear fenders. To answer your question correctly we need the offset. Fu*k the 20's get yourself a nice wide set of frogged 19's!!! 9 in front 10.5 in back. Trust me I had the same mistake with 20's. If we all lived in soCal than 20's all day everyday for our cars but we dont.

if i run 245/30/20 and 285/30/20, is it bad for the car because wheels are bigger in the back then front?
i am looking for 275/30/20 for the rear but untill then, is it safe to do so. i will be rubbing in the back with 285/30/20 but only will drive it for about a week.
