Has anyone expirianced this with traction on when I accelerate traction light starts blinking and am saying with speeds above 55mph samething when i floored it at 80mph, rpm's go up but the car is not pulling strong enough it feels like it want to spin tires or something in that nature, when I turn traction off no problem at all everything seems fine and in DS mode sometimes gears don't want to switch gears for example from 4 to 5. This just started happening couple days ago never before had that problem. Any help appreciated.

What year and model do you have. How many miles. Has any maintenance work has been done recently? So are you saying that your transmission is slipping? Are you getting an error message?

2008 BMW E60 535i , 72k, Mechatronic Unit was replaced by Dealer close to a Year ago, im not sure that its Slipping because with traction OFF car pulls hard only with traction ON the triction light starts blinking at full throttle. And there is NO Error/Fault codes.

does both issues happen at the same time or are they two different issues. Without an error you cant really troubleshoot it. My guess is its the sensor or module. I would start with the sensor if the car is doing fine off then there is an issue with one of them. if you have INPA then you should have a message in the module to give you a clue what is wrong.

Yes i have the INPA im just not that familiar with it yet can you tell me how to read the Madule ?
Also is the Sensor called and or what is that Module called and where are the located on the car ?

Ok lets start from the beginning. You have three settings DSC, DTC/DSC and off. Which setting are you having the issue in. Here is a brief explanation of the difference:

In normal state, no lights, you have DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) by default. DSC helps with sliding and provides stability for cornering.

Pushing the button once turns on DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) and DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) DSC helps with sliding, DTC puts a brake on to stop a wheel from spinning. There is a low system threshold for a spinning wheel, meaning the system (nanny) intervenes quite early.

Holding the button for longer turns everything off. Good for track days, or playing around in parking lots to find out the limits of your car.

Your traction control is apart of the ABS system. The ABS sensor controls (if I am not mistaken) the traction. I cant recall the steps in INPA I just get in there and do it. Found a video for you. Yours might be a different version but it is all the same and options might be slightly off (ex E60= F4 instead of F8).

Ok the problem is in NORMAL STATE, I didn't try just pressing the Button once ,'I just pushed the button and held it for few seconds until full traction is off so I can spin tires and at that state there is no problem, thank you for inpa video I will try it tomorrow.

Hey thank you for help I just did scan my memory for errors and no errors found accept for 1 that Was for ccc unit, I also noticed today that at hard acceleration the rear tends to sway to the right at least from what I can tell traction light still blinks, I lifted the car up and nothing seems out of the ordinary, do u think that if I had BAD shocks this would happen? My car is lowered on H&R sport springs Shocks are stock it's been lowered since 2010.
