Default e60 PDC problem .. code# 9E3B

One of the sensor, far left on passenger side, went bad several months ago and had replaced.
PDC had been working fine since then.

I recently got PDC failure mssg again and I checked sensor and no front/rear sensor is working.
It is an intermittent failure and in most times it doesn't work.
I am still assuming that it is a bad contact or wiring issue.
I also disconnected and checked PDC module and Power supply and it seemed to O.K.

Scanner is throwing 9E3B, power supply distance sensors line fault.

After a goole search(many are with my case, same code # but no success story),
I took front bumper off to see if there’s any line broken but the lines are visually O.K.
I did it first because the front bumper was taken off for painting 2 month before I got this PDC failure.

Rear suspension strut was also taken off a month ago.
Any chance damaging or touching PDC related line while doing suspension job?

Does anybody has a success story with 9E3B?

so you checked the pdc module under the spare in the trunk? no evidence of water there? you check to see if there is a fuse for the pdc? sorry, not sure what else to suggest.

I did check module internally and externally..
Also swapped 5A PDC fuse with the other one..
All were o.k….

I suspected cable break for the front sensor and plugged new cable set but still got the same code 9E3B.

I am planning on taking rear bumper out and see if there’s cable break there…

Any member with success story with 9E3B is welcome to chime in

I have a similar problem. were you able to diagnose it as a bad wire?

Thanks

You could check if supply voltage on PCB is present when the PDC is switched on.

Thanks. Can you tell me what part of the PCB I put my multimeter stick on? To close the circuit with a ground, do I just touch a piece of metal on the car?

thanks

If I remember, you have to measure 5V on this point. If voltage is wrong, try to measure with disconnected sensors (disconnect two black connectors).
Switch on PDC before measurement.

problem: my pdc doesn't look like yours. Where should I put the multimeter on mine?
