Hi All, iam new here, but have been reading it for quite sometime now.

So, the idea is to fit climate control from e70 X5 to our e60 , i think 5 series owners got mistreated due to the fact that rest of BMW line up got proper climate controls with digital display and lets admit it will look much nicer then 3 lifeless knobs.

So , i bought e70 climate control with all connectors, didnt come across fitting it yet as still in progress of searching.



There is a pinout on WDS , but the question to all BMW gurus is , is it gonna work when fitted and coded?

As per manual for e70 IHKA not all pins will be used: only 2 and 3

By the way the e70 ac control is wider then e60's , but the actual space for it is perfect, so i pressume it can be fitted with small adjustments to the bezel

Did anything happen with this? Curious to see installed pics and here a report out if it did.
