Posting Rules

Vendors should only post their products in the vendors section of our forum.
For sales we have the vendors classifieds; and a new subforum of the vendors classifieds is the vendors gallery.
In the vendors gallery vendors can show off their work.
Here our vendors can post pics of completed projects. All brands, not just BMW.

But since those threads are just for the purpose of getting potential buyers attention and to improve sales they are simply ?ads?. Therefore we are asking our vendors to follow these simple rules:

Post a price or pricerange for the completed project.


In the vendors classifieds we have a couple more rules:

-Post a price, or if below MAP post the MAP/retail and state ?price below MAP?
-No bumping of ANY kind, such as ?PM sent?, ttt, bump, etc?.
-Updates, such as new pics, more pics, more infos or price changes are OK though!
-Do not create dupe threads, post updates to your existing one instead.
-Do not create topics in the regular forums only containing links to your classifieds.
-All infos a customer needs have to be given in the sales thread. We do not tolerate threads containing minimal infos and a link to the vendors website. Such links are OK, but only if all infos are given in the thread already.


Something general for vendors:
Please do not use your signature to create ads and then flood our forums with posts that only serve to bring your signature to our members attention.
This is considered spamming and such posts will be deleted.
We also might change/remove your signature.


The reason we are doing this is,
we are a forum for car enthusiasts, not a sales platform. We want to keep the forums clean for discussions among enthusiasts, without being disturbed by spam messages.
So, to not turn this forum into a bumping war of vendors we simply ask you to follow the above rules.
All spam messages or flooding will be deleted. We will not issue warnings and just delete such threads.

We also do NOT tolerate spam PM's!
Misuse of the forums can lead into a temporary suspension of posting rights or a complete ban.
