At the request of many customers of ours that have upgraded from their E46s to the E60 (family, better car, newer car, etc.) and the fact that I'm personally interested in having this stuff made, I present to you the new Predator ICE prototype.
Our goal with this is to mimic the ease of install properties of the PIAA bulb, without having the need to have an external power amplifier to overdrive these LEDs.
As you know, LEDs are very very bright if you want, but the price and heat properties diminishes not only the lifespan but it also destroys the other components it comes in contact with.
This is a ground up design, only PIAA's universal mounting system will be reused.
Here's a good discussion thread on this topic that will answer some questions - hopefully.

We're going to begin taking pre-orders as soon as the prototype is available and we can show you pictures of it. Our pictures will not be:
1) In the dark
2) With diminished exposure settings
3) With blue tint at all
This was a first prototype and it will be 3X brighter than this.

Looks like AngeliBright beat you in time to market and market penetration. Hmmm, I might have waited for this if I was aware of it. Yes, I know member rjcastr kept talking about Umnitza and the Predator ICE, I just didn't bother following up on this.

The first to the market doesn't mean the best
BTW - our predicted price is only $199 retail and $149 pre-order
And no, I don't want a flame war between vendors

No, no. No flame wars here. That kind of stuff is left for the folks over in bimmerforum and e46fanatics.
You are absolutely right! The first to market is not always the best. And, your price is very attractive.
Now, I already have the AngeliBrights (AI but it does not look right. The inside left ring is not as bright as the other three rings. I'm going to remove and re-install the AIBs this week and determine if it's a loose connection. If so, then I'll keep the AIBs. I know that Iceman316 has the same problem.
If, after the re-install, the ring still is not as bright as the others I'll return the AIBs to CustomAngelEyes for another set. If the same situation still arises I'll ask for a refund and wait for the Predator ICE.
To reiterate, I don't care who I buy the angel eyes from, I just want then to work as advertised meaning all four rings have the same intensity.

I'm excited to see the new product even though I already have AIBs and have no problems with them. I don't think I would spend extra money to get different bulbs but still curious to see what you've done.

Dave from angelibright just emailed me back about the problem. He said that it might be that I didn't screw it in tight enough. I'm not gonnna have time to take care of the problem until end of the week but if you try to reinstall it before me please let me know ..
thanks
