99.99% of the announcements have a LINK that takes you to that page.
In less time that it takes to write your post above, you can "RIGHT CLICK, OPEN IN NEW TAB/WINDOW" and not navigate aware from E60 forums.
What's the big deal?
...
If you don't give the required infos and post your link, so we can open your site, you ARE taking away the traffic and, much more important, you are making it more difficult for people who are interested.
All infos have to be given here.
If not, you are simply posting an add.
That's not allowed.

You can ADD your link, but all infos have to be given here!

It IS a big deal!

The big deal is that you get into hot water with your supplier for posting below MAP anywhere thanks to countless others trying to "catch" you doing something the original supplier doesn't approve of. AFE is a perfect example of this. They force MAP, but call ANY vendor and they'll slash prices once they find out you found a lower price somewhere else.

The problem is too many vendors selling the same exact product. I think you need to relax your restrictions on price and let people know that if certain products are listed as "call us for best pricing" that's what they mean and it's only better for the general membership here. <-- main benefit is membership here gets better pricing and vendors stay in good sorts with their suppliers.

If you are selling below MAP: POST it!
As long as you don't post a price the supplier can't say anything.
This is what we allow, max.
But even in cases where there is a MAP and you are selling below, we WANT you to post the price you are selling at here!
We accept if you say "Below MAP", but we don't like it!
Think about this: There are people like me, that would NEVER EVER buy from someone that says: 'PM me for best pricing', or even: 'below MAP'. I ONLY buy if you give me the infos I need right away.

If you don't follow the rules, I will delete your threads, as you have seen.
Those rules were set up and have to be followed. NO discussions. Period.
You can leave if you don't like it.

Post ALL infos here!

It's silly to argue this, I'll agree to disagree with you amicably (friendly) and we'll leave it at that . Just post a poll to see how the membership feels.
Feel free to use my arguments and yours (for and against) - and see how people react - I'm curious - I'm sure you are too.
When you post the poll, also ask if the person voting has been/is a vendor or if they are not.

I dont see this as argument, but if Iceman has a job to upkeep this site, his request is not so difficult to comprehend, I believe.

Recently we had many issues here with too many vendors hitting e60.net and the way they post.
Members complained about it and it interfered with some functions of the forum.

The posting of bumps was suspended and the vendors were seperated from the private sellers.

Now, our admin is very busy, so there are no rules (besides the no bump rule)... yet...

BUT:

before you post think about the following, or me and other members might be a pain for you.

1.) NO bumps at all! This means, no: bump, bumb, ttt, btt, up, ^, PM sent, PM replied, etc....

2.) Post a price! NOT: PM me for best pricing! If you are selling below MAP, post: Pricing below MAP!
edit: Please post the MAP so everyone knows what price range to expect!

This is a car forum for car enthusiasts, not a market place.
We want to keep it that way, or better, return to it.
Selling here is OK, but there is NO reason at all why someone can't follow the simple two rules given above!

Thank you!

This statement was made as a very annoyed member of e60.net!

MAP: Minimum Advertised Price

If you are a vendor and you sell for less than the MAP, please feel free to post "below MAP", but kindly give us the MAP so that everyone knows what to expect!

Thank you!
