we usually do gloss black surrounds and matte black slats as another option, or with the surrounds at a custom color. for chrome surrounds it would be best to keep your stock ones, the grills are 2 pieces and you can have the slats painted if you wish. we just discourage painting the stock chrome surrounds because with usual driving that part is more likely to chip, and when chipped the paint will show the chrome underneath.
