no need to drill anymore. I used to need to drill into the factory socket. But now, it's just simple plug and play but u need to fix the led board itself into the light.

I've got both the RD LED license plate lamps and the LED backup lights. I ditched my license plate holder and, as a result of all of this, my car's rear end is super bright at night. I love it.

lol well make sure you tell ppl to put some sunglasses on while they look at the license plate lamp during night time!!!
