My Ride: A Car
Same price as my other HID kits. $145 shipped. Installed this in an M3 and a few e60s. Here's a pic on an M3 with 8000K HID H8 kit.
It is so bright it lights up the road with JUST the angel eyes on. Look at the car in the front and the light on the floor!!!
This is with flash on!!! Gives a ridiculous amount of light!
This is kinda what it looks like in real life. U can see the rings but it's much brighter in person
Take a look at the floor with JUST the angel eyes on!!
My hand was shaking a lot when trying to take a pic of the car in front. Bear in mind, no headlight on. Just angel eyes. U can drive with just the angel eyes on at night!!

looks good....pics of the actual install....
any power taps to the battery or ecu needed?
with the headlights on, do the AE's dim? if they stay on, does the headlight unit just look bright blob of light/xenons get drowned out by the hid ae's...
I have a halogen upgrade kit coming, but this looks interesting as well....hmmm....and it's only a $30 difference....

So would this work on Pre-LCI E60s??
If so, please include more details.
Are they easy to install? any they plug and play? any error messages in iDrive?
Thanks.

Seems to be tap on constant power ... I don't think HID can be dim 'cuz I don't think ballast do soft on/off, right?
I'm using a my own DIY relay now w/ GP Thunder 7500K similar to the kit you get ... maybe future integration to the HID a step easier.

let me know how this goes ASAP...interested....and if this looks good I'll return the kit I am getting I'd rather support a fellow e60 member
most HID AE's I have seen need a power tap...the previous kits have tapped the ecu (not the best set-up), this newer kit with the battery tap is much easier and cleaner.....
pm sent...

Noooo...why tap into the ECU? Worst case scenario, you'll need a relay cable. Buying the relay cable is normally $40 but with the HID kit, it will be $25 shipped. But what u can do is always try turning off your DRL first to avoid the need of using a relay.
pics of the install and you might have me sold john
