Michael from Acute Performance provided this definition for us in one of his threads. (http://forums.5serie...ost__p__1175990 )
"The Dynamic Drive system (ARS) doesn't affect the shock assembly but uses the sway bars under the car to stabilize the car."
my question is this:
i have ARS and wanted to know if it was possible to control the settings to make the system more responsive? I cant really replace the system with thicker sway bars, like hr sway bars for example. Has anyone been able to upgrade the bars or tune the software so that they can get greater stabilization?

Dinan did have a couple parts for the ARS, but they stopped selling them.
Man I wish the AWD cars had ARS, I miss it so much form the 535i sport... Driving instructors would tell me to take turns harder cause the car was not leaning, then they would try it and realize the car was at max grip from the tires with no lean at all...
I have so fairly obvious picts from an auto cross where the car is level as can be ...

I have asked this question before but I guess no one can answer it. Also, is there a way we can test to see if the system is operating correctly?

yeah , Have some one take a picture of your car during a hard turn.... No lean to the out side of the turn, and the system is working...
Plus if was not working you would get an iDrive error
09 HOD cca Auto x long course
This would be an example of it working correctly... notice how the front end is fairly level even though I'm in a very hard turn at decent speed...
