E60 M5 OEM rear bumper question
#1
Hey guys,
I used to have the M-Tech rear bumper. I just installed the M5 OEM rear bumper but there's nothing behind the diffuser hole in the middle. It doesn't look right at all. I believe their should be a black platic to hide it.
I think I'm missing the piece that goes behind it or should I get a custom made one?
Please see attached picture, the auto body shop has part # 6 but don't know how to install it.
Thanks for any help on this.

As for the install on #6 it's actually pretty easy to install there are just slots where the piece goes into.
That's incorrect becuase i have the M5 rear and i got the piece from the dealer, I've pulled out the parts guy and showed him underneath an M5 and told him thats what i want and he found it for me. All i have to do now is remember if that part that covers the gap came with the attachment wawi attached (#5)

The attachment you've posted #5 is what you need to cover that gap that shows the spare tire for our E60. There is an piece that attaches to that gap becuase i have it for my M rear bumper. I'll try to find out what that piece that is and i'll let you know, unless i forgot the piece i've ordered came with that cover.
