what is the differece between these and the ultimate LED?

 

The "ultimate" are the license plate lamps. They replace the entire housing and has 18 regular sized SMD LEDs there. These 3 HUGE SMD LEDs has 3 chips per SMD which equates to 9 SMD LEDs. The license plate lamps are double the brightness.

 

Do not confuse these with the License Plate Lamps!

These are License Plate LEDs. The License Plate LEDs are a direct replacement of the bulb and is double the brightness of stock bulbs. $38 shipped.
