My Ride: E61 535d
Hi, greetings from Finland!
I'm quite new to this forum. I bought my first ever BMW a week ago, an E61 535d. It's quite nicely equipped and I'm also fairly impressed by it's performance, really nice for a "gigantic" diesel powered car!! The colour is Orient blue, unfortunately I wasn't able to capture it very successfully with my pocket camera on a cloudy day..
Here are some pics of the current winter look, totally original. Mods that I've planned for next spring: lowering, M-Aerodynamic package and a set of 19" BBS CH's (already have those in the carage ) Also would like to do something about the wooden interior trims.. But it seems like a pain in the ass job to remove them..?

I see "Selection cop relevant vehicles" on top of your equipment list. An old police car, eh?
Seriously, a very good looking car with a lot of goodies that will make you treat your new car like it's one in the family... Good luck!

Thanks guys!
Yeah. Does somebody actually know what that means? I'm also wondering the COP control unit?? Do those have something to do with the RunFlats and tire pressure control system?

My E61 also has something like that, but I cannot remember what it was for. I do not think that it had anything to do with RFT.

I just did a quick Google search, and whatever it is, it seems to be standard for E61 models.

Aaah.. I had a night shift last night and I somehow read that it was COP relevant wheels and not vehicle.... That's why I was confusing it to the RFT's.. I better go back to sleep and get ready for tonight...

under description it says "Dummy SALAPA" -- sounds like it could be a big hand that comes out the side of the car and slaps stupid people I'm going to check the user manual tonight, because I could really do with that feature on a Monday morning
