My Ride: BMW 545i CSR
Hi!!
Proud owner of a 545i. Been searching for a nice bodykit, but nothing is available here in our country. Decided to go with a CSR bodykit.
The bodykit came in from Germany in the end of august. When looking at it, I thought the quality was nice, but man was I wrong!
In about a two weeks it went to the paint shop. We had to try it on before paint, and it didn't sit well at all, matter of fact it didn't sit good at all.
After almost a week of adjustments, the bodykit would sit more-so perfectly on the car.
Ready for paint

Paint process
Paint job done. Install time. Now, it might seem as if the color is different, but it's not. My car needs a detailing job done asap (and it will be done)
The car is being finished as I am typing this message. I will go pick it up later today. I am not sure if I am satisfied or not.
Just wanted to share my experience with CSR bodykits. Whoever decides to order it, be prepared for a lot of problems with fitment and quality. The bodykit itself cost me around 1300 EUR (my dealer had a good relation to CSR) + around 1500 EUR to prepare it, paint it, install it!
Ofcourse will have better pictures when everything is done. Any comments and suggestions welcome!
Thanks

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
The end result looks very good, too bad you had to work way too hard to get there. Congratulations on getting it done, I like different and this kit is unique. Just one question - what happened to your fuel door?
