Hi Everyone! I finally did it! My 2004 530i with function folding mirrors with a press of a button. (still working on how to enable it for locking/unlocking).

My hands are torn up from this. Took roughly 5 hours to do. I can it a lot faster though since I figured out all the methods to route the wires.

BTW, Thanks to Bruce Miranda on some tips!

Thank Goodness - finally all the PMs will stop :-) just kidding great job and looks good.

We all better remember that car because when you sell it the next owner is bound to ask, what does this extra button on my door panel do?

Somebody better do a DIY ASAP using an OEM switch plate for my 9/05 build or you'll be getting more PM's on Monday when mine arrive.
