I was working on the car and needed to disconnect the battery. I accidentally closed the trunk and now I can't get it to open. I've tried the following:

1) Used the manual key on the key hole by the trunk license plate
2) Tried to jump start the car from the terminal under the hood

I called roadside assistance and all they can suggest is to get it towed to the dealership which opens on monday!

Is there any way to open my car's trunk? Please HELP!!!

I can't imagine how it wouldn't open with the key. Are you sure you are using the right key? Are you sure you turned it far enough?

You may need to access the manual trunk pull via either split folding rear seat or manually remove the rear seat.

I believe the split folding rear seat is an option feature which my car doesn't have. Now how can i manually take out the rear seats?

Gene, I took out the M trunk finisher to access the key hole.
