Help please -- Got 3 piece Asanti`s but their leaking from bolts... :(

Has anyone had this before...
I bought a set of second hand Asanti`s af 134`s and after driving a day one of the tires went flat, so I checked the wheel with some water and soap mixture and noticed a couple (about 5 or 6) of the inner bolts where leaking air...
What should I do, my local tireshop advised me to loosen the bolts, clean around the dirt and rust, add some glue or silicone gel and then tighten them up, one by one...
Or shall I just tighten them up a bit?I hear their torqed on...

They def arent leaking from the bolts unless they arent tightened. What your gonna have to do is take the tire off and have them resealed.

My Ride: 2005 Titanium Gray 545i Sport, black leather, navigation, Logic 7, and no money for mods.
Three piece wheels require a seal between the outer rims and center piece of the wheel.. If not sealed properly, they will leak like your pictures. I believe all you need to is remove the tires, and apply a silicone caulk bead where the rims meet the wheel's center section. I had to do this to some three piece wheels on my turbo Z.

My wheel shop does the resealing for me. Find a high end wheel repair shop near you and they'll take care of it.

Ist - Find a new tire shop that knows what they are tallking about and are willing to help you, or send you in the right dirrection.
- If you have Asanti's like I do, you will realize that no sockets or wrenches from an average tool box will work on the outside facing bolts on these wheels.
- You cannot just remove the bolt and clean around the dirt and rust, add some glue or silicone gel and then tighten them up, one by one... It wont fix anything.
2nd - Just find a shop that has alot of experience with 3 piece wheels. Have them remove the tire for you, and re-seal and torque the wheel properly for you.
To do this properly you will need to split the wheel and reseal. There is a seal between the pieces and it obviously has failed or was not done properly which lead to the failure.
Don't be too worried. They are designed to come apart so it will not be too difficult.
I would personally join the Wheel Whores forum and there are some great DIY and information on what to use, torque specs and everything!
