I know this is going to look like a Newb question, but the fact is, it is.
So here it goes.
Can someone show some close up pics of these mirrors versus stock mirrors? I read alot about folks getting these M5 mirrors etc.. and they are excited but have not really pinned down some pictures for me to see the difference.
Do they do anything different then stock mirrors, like internal turn signal lights etc..????

There is no internal signal. Only difference is Shape.. and it folds up compared to folding in with stock mirrors.
There are different modes. Some models don't have a electrochromatic mirror. The mirror dims in correspondance with the rear view mirror dimming.
And some have the folding mechanism.
BTW, if you ask, only M5's in the USA mirrors fold. I haven't seen anyone do a conversion with a regular e60 in USA. only in Europe.
Good luck, and the mirrors definitely give a more sleek look compared to stock mirrors.

I saw Roy's M5 mirrors in person, now I really want a pair for my car. This forum is killing my wallet every time I visit.
The mirrors have all function, like electrocromatcic glas (autodimming) autofold, led lights(puddele lights) reverse tilting, heated,
