Hi guys,

I am having the same problem.

As you guys know, it is randomly. So my dealer can't reproduce the noise.
BMW Munich seems surprised.

So please:

Everybody who is experiencing this problem, please send me your VIN by email or PM.

I will make a list with all VIN's and give it to BMW, so that they acknowledge this as a problem that needs to be solved from Munich.

My steering doesn't squeek exactly but, everytime I turn the steering wheel more than 1 full turn, I hear this click sound which wasn't there before. The dealer seems to think its normal but I don't think so. Is this the same thing? <_<

Have the same thing as you, notice it first thing in the morning when the car is cold, I remember reading somewhere that it was caused by tight steering column tolerances, and that the fix is to replace the steering column.

Got a couple VIN's allready and will make the list for BMW tomorrow evening, once I return home from my trip to Berlin.
