So I recently just repainted my front bumper due to chips and someone backing into my bracket. Does anyone have any ideas where to put a license plate on the front without the holes in the bumper?

I have a 550 OEM bumper on my 535. I am thinking the hideaway but doesnt look like enough room in the grilles.

Any other places I can put it. I filled my front holes and I have no bracket on. Looks 10X better!

Thanks

Probably not "legal", but may you can get by with it. I have seen two members where they cut the license plate so that only the digits are visible. Basically trimmed it down, drilled holes in the corner, and zip tied it to the bottom grill. Looks a lot better if you must put on a plate in the front.

Don't put one on unless you get a fix it ticket. Then use this to get it signed off and then take it off again. http://www.bimmian.com/Tow-Hook-Lice...W-E60-5-Series

Move somewhere that doesn't have front plates.

I bought this http://www.skene.org/bmw/plate/ it works good, but you have to buy 3/4 screws vs. the 1/4 they send with it on an E60.
Its takes 10 min to install, no holes on bumper cover just 2 tiny ones under you'll never see if removed. NH PD love no front plate tickets.
