I unfortunately had a bumper collision last night. I was crossing traffic and a girl in a VW Beetle hit my bumper on the front passenger corner. The cops say it was my fault, so I'm probably going to end up paying for it (and hers as well) through my insurance company.

As it turns out, my damage is really minor. Some scrapes and a small crack in the plastic, but I don't imagine body shops repair that kind of stuff any more. They'll just replace the bumper. The damage is limited to the bumper itself. The body doesn't even have a scratch on it. So my question is... should I take this opportunity to upgrade the bumper, since it will more than likely have to be replaced anyway? I have an '07 530xi with the Sport package. Are there mod options that I can retrofit without going crazy? I don't want to get involved in modifying the grill, headlamps, etc. I just want to maybe give it an edgier look. Any suggestions? Pics would be helpful too. Thanks!

Sorry to hear about what happened.

How about something along the lines of M5 Tech? Like these ones...
