Can anyone with a 6.5" M-ASK monitor confirm that the power cable for the monitor matches the digram below?

Got it.
In case anyone needs this in the future it's not as per photo above, it's like this:

violet/red - pin 1
black/brown - pin 3
black - pin 5
yellow - pin 6

Not yet. I haven't actually moved the power to the monitor. Checking with the xcarlink guys currently, they might be able to make a harness for the monitor, I don't want to splice any wires.
But the message doesn't seem to come up if you drive the car everyday.

I used this as a guide to build a nav harness for a non-nav E90 a few weeks ago. Pretty handy, relevant to all CCC's AFAIK.

Thanks. That is handy.
I've also came across this which seems to be the exact thing I need to get rid of the High battery drain message.

Interesting to know but why the need for a relay , could you just not use that pin 13 wire as a feed for the interface ?

The relay is not necessary. The power feed can be connected straight to pin 13 yes.
So snip that red power cable of the multimedia adapter which goes into pin 15 and use a scotchlock to connect it to 13 instead, that way you don't need another harness.
Not sure why the makers didn't do this before but I have told them about it that is what they have advised.
Hopefully future harnesses will be like this.

All sorted now , much better not having the annoying bong noise when you put key in

So you moved the interface red wire from pin 15 to 13 and that was it right?
Glad it worked. Will do it too when I get a chance
