First impressions after having driving it for a couple of hours can easily be summed up into a big: WOW!
I'll be back with more later, I have to rush on to a BBQ party. 'Til then, enjoy my first pics......

I see you went for the 520dA instead of another 523iM. When you ordered one of your previous 523i's I remember you thinking about these two models a lot, because back then I went for the 520d when you went for the 523i Any particular reason for now switching over to the diesel?

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
Congrats Scandic24
F10 Jet Black (or Black II, as you call it) is the best color for the new F10 and
the interior with black sport seats and brushed aluminum trims looks awesome.
Your first (very nice) pics don't actually show the individual tinted windows and what's fine, nor electric fold-away tow hitch.
Did you get the Defa heater installed already? I lot of Fin F10's are still waiting for it.

Thanks guys!

Well, the main reason for diesel is fuel efficiency and economics.
It seemed like a no brainer when the 520d came up. It feels more powerful than my old 6 cyl petrol...and almost as smooth.
Ric
Not to worry, I'll be taking more pics soon
Regarding the DEFA heater - No, you're right, it is not available yet. They will put it in later on.

My Ride: Just gone-520d m sport- Jet Black- Dakota Leather black- AluCube interior,
On order- F10 520d SE-Titanium Silver
I'm amazed how much difference the shadow line trim makes- It gives the car a really sporty, almost MSport look. Great choice. Your pics have confused me again- had decided on titanium silver- Thx

08' 120i - M-Sport - Alpine White III / Black Sensatec
Grattis! Otroligt snygg bil, som jag misstänkte...
It's nice how BMW have given the 520d all the 6-cyl exteriour features.
