the scoop rams air that comes through the kidney grills and directs the air into an inlet tunnel. that tunnel is directly connected to the stock airbox.

 

Is it hard to install ?

 

install includes taking off the top bolts for the bumper and taking off the kidney grills. from there, the scoop has 3M tape on the back for pre-placement, and 3 screws to mount it.

 

does it come in pairs or just 1 scoop ?

for the non-Ms, only 1 scoop is needed. the only non-M e60 that will need 2 scoops if it is a V8 with the Dinan intake.
