Default Worn Out Rear Tires

I wore out my second set of rear tires. 24,000 miles after rotation. I think I am doing pretty well. First set of tires were Yokohama and the second set were Bridgestone. I am going with the Bridgestone's again. When I cut the shoulder on these tire they showed a belt edge separation starting. I think this is due to the camber settings.

Actually, your tread wear looks fairly even for a BMW! The outer edges are wearing faster and while it may be an alignment setting I'd first suggest slightly higher inflation pressures (2-3 psi) to see if that evens out the wear across the tire tread. It's not unusual for the belt edges to show as the outer tread blocks wear. When that happens it's definitely replacement time.

Think your tires are doing well. looks pretty even. and the corners look good . I got 27,400 miles outta my rears, Im running Ventus V12 EVO's they are a soft tire , with a 280 tread wear.

What u can do is reduce the camber from a factory setting of 2.0 degrees to a 0.08. it will help the inside corners last longer . Also like Luigi said,, raise the psi 2lbs over. Actually I go 5 psi over then reduce to 2 psi over as the tires wear down and after I off rim rotate my rears. I also switched to nitrogen cause it doesn't fluctuate with hot and cold temps and the psi stay steady.

Doesn't look too bad! Nice even wear for the most part. The E60's equipped with the Sport Package are tough on rear tires due to the aggressive camber. My inside edge was down to the steel.

Will they be able to adjust camber setting to below the recommended setting with the stock camber. I'm talking about from -2. to -8

Mine are at the minimum of -1.7 and -1.8 degrees. The bigger issue is how hard do you take the 270 degree on ramps.

Do you need to replace the oem camber with after market camber to be able to come down to 0.08 setting?
