Will 16" rims fit an xi with the proper offsets?

Will 16" rims fit an xi with the proper offsets?
Have been looking at E46 wheels for snow tires, many come in 16" and I can go down to a 205 tire. Just wasn't sure if a 16 will clear the calipers. Anybody know?

Probably not - 17" wheels with the proper tire size (225/50x17) is an optimal winter setup for xi's.
Remember to watch for tire load capacity - 5's weigh more than 3's - and proper wheel offset.
