Default What color to powder-coat my new wheels???

Hi All,

Need your input on which color to get my wheels powdercoated. Miro 111's going on my space grey E60. Here's a pic of the current vehicle. M5tech bumper to be installed shortly as well.

I think my top picks are brushed aluminum graphite tint, solar rain, and gunmetal/black 2 tone. I have a bunch of samples posted. Please let me know what you guys think.

Thanks in advance!

Brushed Aluminum Graphite Tint

Solar Rain

Gunmetal / Black 2 Tone

Brushed Clear

Sparkling Graphite

I am thinking of the same. I have factory chrome 18's on mine and don't really care for them. the bad part is that if I purchase new rims I will go up to 19" and then I would have to also purchase new tires. My current tires still have maybe two years at best so it would be a waste to get rid of them. I was thinking about powder coating as well. How do the wheels hold up after this application? I'm affraid of peeling etc.

I hear that powder coating is a durable finish and an ideal way to color your wheels. As with anything else, accidents can't be prevented. But I think durability will also depend on how well you maintain them.

solar rain or brushed clear. all the other colors will be drowned out by your car color. too monotone.
