Default Tire size E60 19"

Has anyone ever run 245-45-19 front and 275-40-19 rear on their E60? Just a bit more rubber to possibly protect the rims.. I have a nice set of Pirelli tires in this size and would love to use them on my 545i. Thanks in advance. Adam

245/45/19's are about 2" taller than stock... I'm 99.9% sure it will rub.
I'm running 245/45/18 x 8.5 ET18 now which is about 0.96 inch (diameter) taller than stock and I got no rubbing issues but my tires are really close to the fender liners.
Go with 225/40/19 (or 255/35/19) front and 275/35/19 rear.

I just got some Style 95s with 245/45/19 in the front and it did not clear the suspension. It all depends on the the offset. I think I might just get wheel spacers and roll the fenders in the front. The rear should fit as mine did.

I think they would be way too tall. practically "4x4 status" on an e60. lol

Could squeeze in 255/35/19 in the front if you wanted to - no contact with anything anywhere, stock sport suspension, 22mm offset wheels. Any taller and I got rub. You have more flexibility in the rear. I'm at 275/35/19, others have run larger.

Good luck.

Crap, I just bought 245/40/19 today for the front's. They refused to do 245/35/19 because they said they are not rated properly for the load on the car. Is it really going to be a big difference between 255/35/19? I'm on coil-overs, so I don't know what I should do.
