Rubbing on shock and spring plate in front
 

Hey guys...just bought a used set of Vossen CV3.,having issues mounting the front wheel as its a 20x9 et 35 with tire size 255/35/20.Tried to mount them today and the rear went on fine but the front wouldn't go all the way on due to the rim hitting the shock and the tire rubbing the spring plate.Im still in the learning process about offsets as these wheel came off a Camaro.My question is....is there a spacer and tire size that I could go with to make this et 35 offset work or have I just lost out on this wheel & tire purchase?????My e60 525 sit on eibach sport springs.Do I need to put back on the stock springs???? Any info will b greatly appreciated.😒😒😒

You definitely will need a 10-15mm spacer. From what I've gathered a 255/35 is going to be tough to fit. I just picked up a used set myself with the same tire sizes but my specs up front are 20x8.5 +14

So maybe a 245/30/20 and a 10-15mm spacer may work even with the sport springs ?

I personally wouldn't run a 245/30 due to load rating not being sufficient. I had a bad experience with trying that on my 370z (with that size actually), but many run without incident. I would go 255/30 or 245/30 with a 285/30 rear.

You need to add a 17-18mm spacer to have a 9x20 wheel clear the strut. Also the tire you are running is pretty tall and a little bit wider then stock so with the sport spring you will rub the front fender liner and the fender itself possibly.
