putting M5 wheels on a 525i

With the M5 tire sizes, the back wheels might be ok, but the front will definitely be rubbing. I would suggest to change both to the recommended sizes of 245/35/19 and 275/30/19.

My Ride: 530I Silver gray with gray leather with Premium Package, Logic 7 Premium sound system with Ipod interface, xenon adaptive headlights, Active steering, Power retractable rear sunshade, Comfort seats, Cold weather package and M5 OEM 166 wheels, Sprintbooster. Yup go with 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. I had the #166 rims on my 545 and I went with 245/35/19 and 275/30/19.

Under hard compression the rears will rub too if you go with standard M5 tire size. Front will rub when your suspension is under compression or close to full lock turning the wheel.
