NY530i

I have an 06 non sport 530i. I wanted to purchase OEM m5 rims with the factory tire sizes. I have gone through several sets of bent rims thanks to the NYC potholes so increased side wall is a must! I've done a lot of research as to what everyone is saying is the maximum tire sizes since the front will rub etc. I know there are a few members that somehow pulled off running the M5 factory front tire sizes on making adjustments to there suspension and/or rolling fenders. From what I read there should be a clearance issue with the factory suspension. Was just wondering if anyone had any insight. I've been debating on going coil overs for sometime now and if it will solve my problem I'll gladly pull the trigger.
